Homosexual Marriage and One Holy Catholic Church
The Vatican's strong pronouncement that, after 6,000 years of civilized history, marriage is still between only one man and one woman, drew predictable fire from some rather unpredictable places in Colorado. To date, Colorado Springs had held out against this trend in Colorado cities toward legal recognition of homosexuality, preserving an important precedent for people across our state interested in preserving historical ideas of gender, sexuality, marriage, and family. That precedent is now gone.

Q&A on 2002 Children of Divorce Protection Act
The bottom-line question regarding divorce is this: are we willing to place the interests of our children, the most vulnerable members of our society, above our own?
