Charles Chaput, Archbishop of Denver, Discusses Catholic Church's Position on Immigration 3/4/06 Theology and Illegal Aliens by Bill O'Reilly Cardinal Roger Mahony of Los Angeles stated on March 1, 2006, he would instruct his priest to ignore proposed Federal legislation that would prohibit churches from aiding illegal aliens.
